Season of Exultation - Day 1

Praise the Lord!

I know that I haven't been an active blog writer for the past year . I wanted to actively resume back my writing this year . I wasn't really sure about what to start with or write about this year. Today being the 1st day of the lent season which is the ash wednesday ,I had this deep urge in my mind to write something for 40 days which would be uplifting and encouraging to others.

I have seen many people fasting, refraining up social media, abstaining from non vegetarian foods etc during lent season. To me lent season was always portrayed as the saddest days of a Christian's year.I have seen the woe and sorrow among people during the lent season because of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

Personally this is my approach to the lent season.I believe in the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.I love to remember his selfless love He displayed on cross. I am grateful for the Cross and think about His painful plight at Calvary.I do not see this as a time of sadness but a season of triumphant victory.Victory through the cross over sin and death.I am filled with awe and joy that God sent His only son to save me and rescue me from the miry clay.He has chosen me to be His own and I am not a slave but a daughter of the most high.Through the cross I have a future , I have hope for my tomorrows .I have a father who has engraved me into His palm. What a honor and privilege it is to serve such a loving God. This is my belief and celebration this lent season.

I will be writing short encouraging messages to spread some positive contagious hope to you all.
Dear friend,Lent is a season of jubilation to acknowledge and declare the finished work of Jesus Christ in our lives . We read in Romans 5:8 - "But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners." This is what I call true love. God loved you even before you ever knew about Him.He chose to die on the cross for you and me so that we could live a victorious christian life. This is the typical demonstration of love.No matter how far you are from God remember that His love is unconditional and He has already forgiven your past , present and future sins on the cross. All you need to do is to come back like the prodigal son . The father is always waiting for you with open arms . It's never too late to come back home dear son/daughter.

Daddy Jesus is waiting for you to hug you and say "Welcome Home My Beloved " Your life will not be the same when you chose to give Jesus the wheel.Experience His love my friend.

Happy Ash Wednesday

More words of hope on its way !
