Season of Exultation - Day 5

Today we will talk about forgiveness . This is an area where many of us struggle . Sometimes we can't really forgive a person when they have done something wrong against us . It might be actions or words but still it is actually hard to get over with certain incidents in our lives. Many people say that "I can forgive but I can't forget " No where in the bible God tells us to forgive and forget. Did you know that ?God only tells us to forgive others because Jesus has already forgiven us of debt which we cant even repay off.by forgiving we are actually doing our minds and bodies a favor of  having good health and sound mind.We do not want our hearts to be a culmination of hatred and bitterness. Do we ?

So we just need to forgive and let God do the rest . When we truly forgive others God makes us forget .We cannot remember the wrongdoings of someone when we say that we have actually forgiven them in our heart.
Joseph had forgiven his brothers before they came and bowed before him. He remembered what they did to him, but he did not remember it with bitterness.

We read this in  Genesis 50:15-17

"When Joseph’s brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, “What if Joseph holds a grudge against us and pays us back for all the wrongs we did to him?”
So they sent word to Joseph, saying, “Your father left these instructions before he died:‘This is what you are to say to Joseph: I ask you to forgive your brothers the sins and the wrongs they committed in treating you so badly.’ Now please forgive the sins of the servants of the God of your father.” When their message came to him, Joseph wept."

God had already given a forgiving heart to Joseph .That's how God will help us to forgive others.

When  we forgive others , we need to forgive by faith not by our feelings.Do it once for all. When we forgive by faith we see the root of bitterness being removed from our hearts We will experience the divine comfort and peace filling our hearts . That's the true forgiveness God wants from us. Today if you are having any kinds of hard feelings on anyone , Just let it go and Forgive them. Let your hearts be free of any burden . Leave it to God and let your inner souls be rejuvenated and restored in Jesus name .

Season of Exultation -Day 4

Many were asking me about things like this one . You say that This lent is meant to be a season of triumph and all that so does it mean that , you only celebrate and be merry all the time ? what about repentance , feeling sorry for sin ,  asking God for forgiveness and being holy during this season ? Why do you focus on the joyful and blessed part of one self so much ? When the whole world is mourning and thinking about the plight of Jesus Christ on the Cross why are you writing something so different ? So many questions were asked .

My answer is this .I know that many people say that you need to ask God for forgiveness of your sins and repent during the Lent .I would say that you don't  have to specifically wait for the lent to be holy blameless and spotless before God. We are saved through His amazing grace . No one is holy except God Himself. We all sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. We were redeemed and saved by the blood shed by our Lord Jesus on the cross.

I have heard a preacher say that the Hebrew word for Repentance is "teshuvah" that means "Because of the Cross of Jesus Return to Grace ".What an amazing revelation of repentance .The hidden meaning behind the word repentance is simply mind blowing when we look into the original word in the hebrew language. It shows God's heart for His people.

Repentance is all about returning back to God's grace because of His goodness that was demonstrated on the cross at calvary. It all about looking at the cross and receiving His grace .God's grace has dominion over every sin .We all make mistakes but we need to repent looking at the cross and experiencing his unmerited favor to overcome sin in the area of your weakness. We have no condemnation in Christ Jesus , that's the highest blessing behind grace .

2 Corinthians 12:9 says  "And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness". Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."

Don't run away from Him. Run to the Lord instead.

I believe that when our understanding about God's grace , righteousness right , you will see everything change . It's not your willpower that helps you to overcome temptation it's the Holy Spirit living inside you who aids us to bear witness to Jesus by guiding us. So to me living a life of holiness and righteousness is a everyday thing not something you do in lent .

We all take a shower and keep ourselves dirt free after a long day of work or going places . Same thing applies to our inner man . we need to look into our hearts and ask Jesus to cleanse us with His blood to keep our inner man spotless and flawless before God.Its a daily process not a seasonal procedure. His grace is freely available to us , that's the true blessing of the finished work of jesus on the cross.Receive His grace today in your area of weakness. It's possible to live a sin free life with the Holy Spirit .

Get rid of your guilt and come running to the throne .

Season Of Exultation - Day 3

Power on your tongue -Part 2

Hi Folks .Today we will be talking more on the real power and authority on our tongue. I grew up in a church where I was taught that we should speak out the way we want our lives to be like.

The bible says in Proverbs 18:21 that life and death are in the power of the tongue.

My spiritual mentors trained me to speak out what I believed in Jesus Christ. I was taught to not just believe God's word but to also speak it out in every situation. I have experienced greater things happen in my life when you speak out God's word during life's crisis moments.

Ecclesiastes 8:4 says that "Since a king's command is powerful, who is able to challenge him, asking, "What are you doing? ".

Who is this king here ?
Let me point out another verse .

It is written in Revelation 1:6 like this "And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen."

What do you understand from here ?
We are the Kings and priests in Jesus christ. There is power and authority on our tongue .

According to the Bible whatever we bind on earth  will be bound in heaven and whatever we loose on earth will be loosen in heaven according to Matthew 18:18.

Declare the word of God over your life and possess your victory in Jesus name .

For example if you are experiencing fear and panic attacks . Declare 2 Timothy 1:7 over your fears and say that God has not given me a spirit of fear but of power love and sound mind.

I was a person of negativity before and fear before the Lord really intervened in my life.

My dear friend similarly there is a bible verse for each one of your problems in the Holy Bible which is the written word of God. Write them down , confess it . Speak your way towards victory. Be it sickness, pain, debt, loneliness, anxiety etc. The solution is the affirming powerful word of God.I encourage each one of you to take control of your life's situations declaring the word of God .You will see things change .Believe what you speak out. You will see your faith increase when you start confessing and proclaiming God's word over your life. The devil might sow seeds of negativity in your heart but eradicate those vile moments with God's word and prayer.

In Mark 11:23 we read "Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them."

Your faith and words can move mountains in your life. As simple as that start speaking to your problems . Experience dominion and conquest over every lie the enemy has told you in your lifes .

In the name of Jesus we already have the victory

Season Of Exultation - Day 2

Power on your tongue - Part 1

I want to share with you about  the power behind words that we speak everyday using our tongue .Our words are super powerful. They can build us up , tear us apart, breathe life into us.Our words seriously do matter .God tells us in His Word that the tongue has incredible power. We can use our tongue to bring blessings and life or curses and death. In the bible James chapter 3 has a lot to talk about taming our tongue. James says that a small spark can burn down the whole forest likewise our tongue is also the fire which can corrupt our entire life system.

Wow!  Isn't it sometimes scary?

I have a hard time controlling my tongue and I still have a hard time with words . I know we all do .Sometimes we utter inappropriate  words in anger. We curse and say things of negativity and hurt at others. We talk bad stuff about people . We even curse our situations, gossip about our neighbour, boast about our lives and say stuff that put others down .Words can make us feel worthless, wretched, unloved, despicable and incompetent. Our tongues can be the most difficult thing to control and leave us with great regret if we use our words to hurt. I am here to tell you that surely there is hope!

The Bible tells us that with the help of the Holy Spirit we can have power and control over our tongue. We read in Colossians 4:6 - "Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.Proverbs 15:4 says that  "The soothing tongue is a tree of life, but a perverse tongue crushes the spirit." We also read in Proverbs 21:23 "Those who guard their mouths and their tongues keep themselves from calamity."

So many more verses talk about guarding our tongue. We can't and it's impossible in our flesh to keep a watch on each word we utter out of our mouth. With the help of the Holy Spirit who is a teacher and a  counselor ,we can speak words of hope and love and have control over our tongue.

Let our mouth be a fountain of fresh living waters to many thirsty, exhausted souls out there. I pray that each of our words will be blessed and bring about revival among people.

Shalom Blessings .

Season of Exultation - Day 1

Praise the Lord!

I know that I haven't been an active blog writer for the past year . I wanted to actively resume back my writing this year . I wasn't really sure about what to start with or write about this year. Today being the 1st day of the lent season which is the ash wednesday ,I had this deep urge in my mind to write something for 40 days which would be uplifting and encouraging to others.

I have seen many people fasting, refraining up social media, abstaining from non vegetarian foods etc during lent season. To me lent season was always portrayed as the saddest days of a Christian's year.I have seen the woe and sorrow among people during the lent season because of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

Personally this is my approach to the lent season.I believe in the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.I love to remember his selfless love He displayed on cross. I am grateful for the Cross and think about His painful plight at Calvary.I do not see this as a time of sadness but a season of triumphant victory.Victory through the cross over sin and death.I am filled with awe and joy that God sent His only son to save me and rescue me from the miry clay.He has chosen me to be His own and I am not a slave but a daughter of the most high.Through the cross I have a future , I have hope for my tomorrows .I have a father who has engraved me into His palm. What a honor and privilege it is to serve such a loving God. This is my belief and celebration this lent season.

I will be writing short encouraging messages to spread some positive contagious hope to you all.
Dear friend,Lent is a season of jubilation to acknowledge and declare the finished work of Jesus Christ in our lives . We read in Romans 5:8 - "But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners." This is what I call true love. God loved you even before you ever knew about Him.He chose to die on the cross for you and me so that we could live a victorious christian life. This is the typical demonstration of love.No matter how far you are from God remember that His love is unconditional and He has already forgiven your past , present and future sins on the cross. All you need to do is to come back like the prodigal son . The father is always waiting for you with open arms . It's never too late to come back home dear son/daughter.

Daddy Jesus is waiting for you to hug you and say "Welcome Home My Beloved " Your life will not be the same when you chose to give Jesus the wheel.Experience His love my friend.

Happy Ash Wednesday

More words of hope on its way !
