He is a Just God

Our son loves cars, legos ,buses, dinosaurs and above all trains .Trains are very fascinating to him. They keep running all day long. They travel through tunnels, bridges, seaside, countryside and are really speedy. Our little guy is totally mesmerized by these trains. To be very specific,he has this penchant for Thomas , the tank engine. He totally adores Thomas .Thomas is not alone , he has his friends too.Percy,Gordon,James,Edward,Henry .. and the list goes on . He has a so many different sized Thomas trains and some of his friends too.He carries them wherever he goes.He is enthralled by these little fancy steamies. His daddy got him a trackmaster set which he could play with by connecting all the tracks and watching these little battery operated trains run across them. Oh he has deep interest on these intricate trains .

He kept on asking us about actually riding on Thomas train. I was like "What are you saying? Those trains are found only on animated videos and they are not real" This little boy would not give up and he totally believed that the island of Sodor existed somewhere and that Thomas train was working and being really useful .I couldn't find ways to tell him that its all a fantasy. He kept asking us about taking him to ride this train someday.I wasn't sure if that was possible. I even thought that he would forget it sooner or later. He was so relentless and untiring about his dream.I really wanted to do something for him.I began to fish around the internet to find out if they was a Thomas train which we could ride on.

Voila!!! I found this day out with Thomas event in a nearby town of ours.We got the tickets booked and told him that mommy and daddy would take him to ride Thomas.I saw the sparkle in his eyes. He hugged me and kissed me .He told a million times that he was thankful.Oh I loved seeing the ecstasy in his heart. The day out with Thomas was there even before he could think . .He had the day of his life. His was open mouthed when he saw Thomas the tank engine pulling carriages on the rail road.He would press his face to the glass window and keep on watching as the trees moved away.My boy was over the moon.He really had a whale of time. We were happy as a clam that we were able to take him to ride his all time favorite Thomas train.

Now coming to the actual point,What thought does this little story project?

We have so many needs in our lives which need the actual touch of God .Sometimes it feels like God has failed us .Many a times we think that God has almost forgotten us and that he will not take notice of our situations we are going through. I want to encourage you my dear brothers and sisters that our God never ever fails us . He never forgets .He has engraved us in the palm of His hand.He will do justice and he will never leave us nor forsake us.

In Luke 18 we read about the parable of the persistent widow. She kept asking for justice against her adversary. We read that even though the judge wasn't god fearing he administered justice to her so that she will not trouble him anymore.

And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?
I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”
Luke 18:7,8

What a good caring God we have ,He is more faithful to provide answers for all our questions .He is righteous and steadfast.Don't lose heart your justice is on its way from God. Believe.

God bless you folks .

The Rose Bush

I have a special interest in gardening. Although I am not that very dynamic about gardening, I do love the colors these flowers bring about in people's yards during each seasons .To be more precise ,I have this penchant to admire roses .
Who would not love a sweet smelling satiny appealing captivating roses?

I could add more attributes to this particular flower. Roses are so special and alluring and that is why I wanted to have my own rose bush in my front yard .I thought planting a rose bush would amplify the look of the house. So I got these bare root rose bushes from the store and planted them.Every day I would wake up in the morning and rush outside to see if there was some growth . I kept watering the plant and waiting upon it for days and weeks. The first plant seemed to have some life in it but eventually it started drying out and finally was out of life. I so much wanted a rose bloomed yard that I planted another one again next year . My efforts were futile . I serial killed three roses in a year .
I came to a conclusion that my yard wasn't the right fit for these beauties.I almost gave up on them.
This year ,I had these strong urge in myself to buy those roses again  and I ended up giving in and buying a rose bush again.
Sounds kind of crazy huh.. Yes I did buy those roses again.

To change things a bit , I researched and found out what roses like and what kind of soil should I use and all that. I planted the rose but with huge prayers.
"Lord , I pray that this rose plant will bloom well and fill up my yard with colors. I believe you are going to protect it and sustain it in my yard.In Jesus name, Amen."
After planting it I kept checking on it for weeks and months .It appeared as though I would lose this one too. I was very positive and trusted God that he is still doing something in the background and He was . Little leaves buds popped up and now we have a beautiful rose bud ready to blossom into a radiant sheen rose flower.

You might be wondering why I am talking about each detail behind a simple incident. There is a message behind this rose bush which the Lord taught me this afternoon.

We humans have this notion that we are know it all and do it all super beings . We try to handle everything ourselves .We reason out on issues . We think logically and scientifically to bring out answers to our various questions .We think this problem is not big enough for God to handle it .I thought my yard wasn't  good enough for my yard but God proved me wrong. This rose was the right fit for my yard. Our identity and worth doesn't come from our deeds but our true colors are from Jesus. He overturns our present situations to create great moments of heavenly bliss.

"I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?
 Jeremiah 32:27

God taught me not to lose my sleep  and panic about little troubles . He is all capable and ready to come in to our rescue any time we call Him in our need . Only thing is that we don't really let Him take full control. Even if we let Jesus behind the wheel we try to give directions instead of sitting in the back seat and enjoying the ride.
Let us not fret over our struggles , health issues , situations etc but give it all to Jesus. Cast all our cares on Him for He cares for us. He is our peace .He is our healer .He is the author and finisher of our faith. The God who Raised the dead, Parted the Red sea, Walked on water is alive even today . Trust Him .He is our hope for tomorrow. Be amazed on how God will lead you when you hand over your everything into His hands.

The Lord will fight for you ,You need only to be still "
Exodus 14:14

Lord ,Now I see

My mind was filled with dread,
so much despair circled my head,
Hopeless Situations ,Exasperating Times,
All I could hear were those pessimistic chimes,
I heard a voice so calm and still but unforeseen,
He began to deal with my soul behind the screen,
He gave me jubilation for my melancholy,
Permeated me in His love and called me holy,
He whispered hope and life into my dryness,
healing away my heart's spiritual blindness,
With my vivid vision , Now I see,
All my afflictions nailed on  to the tree,
I know He has breathtaking plans to prosper,
and that I don't have one single reason to fear,
My God ,My Jesus is my Healer,
Guardian of my soul and Wellness Keeper
I know He will carry me and lead me on ,
as all His promises are Yes and Amen.
