Behold the newborn king

A star appeared in Bethlehem
Where in a manger lay the almighty king
The heaven's choir praised Him again and again
Singing " Glory to God and good towards men"
The shepherds came to behold God's only son
The saviour of the world and holy one
The wise men fell prostate in worship
For they knew and acknowledged His kingship
They laid frankincense,myrrh and gold
For He is the "King of Kings" and worthy to be extolled
All adoration and glory be to Him alone
"Gloria in Excelsis Deo"
Great are you Lord who sits on heaven's throne

Nothing But The Blood

Lets start with a small story. This story will provide a blue print about my writing today.
Lets say I want to sell a car which I think is worth is 7000$ and offers are made ranging 2000$ to 9000$
*How much is the car worth?
*The 7000$ that I think its worth ?
*The "Low Ball " offer of 2000$ ?
*No..Not at All..

The car is worth what the highest bidder is willing to pay in the open market.Same way People are traded in the eternal and spiritual market. We are not worth what we happen to think or any "Low Ball" Offer. We are worth what the highest bidder will pay.

The highest bidder is GOD Himself. The Price Tag is the CROSS

God looked out across the eternal ages and said "I will take that one even though its worthless and cheap "Our worth is established once and for all and can never change or diminish.God has made the ultimate offer and paid the highest price through the royal priceless blood which was shed on the cross.

1 Peter1:18-21 NKJV
18 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers,
19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
20 He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you
21 who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God

1 John 1:7 NKJV
7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

The blood is the core of our gospel message.Without the blood we have no salvation and no power over the devil. For we must realize that we have been ransomed from the futile way of living passed on to us by your traditions, but not by any money payment of this passing world. No, the price was, in fact, the life blood of Christ, the unblemished and unstained lamb of sacrifice.

Man's blood was corrupted, polluted. Life is in the blood. Sinless blood had to be shed for guilty blood. Jesus shed every drop of His blood to make our filthy lives pure.

What is the secret of the blood of Jesus? Why does it have so much power? Medical science tells us that the baby gets its blood from the father. If there's any question about the paternity of a child a blood test can be given and it be proved that one man is the father. The proof is in the blood.

Who is the father of Jesus? If Joseph was the father ,Jesus's blood wouldn't have had the power to cleanse anyone of their sin.Joseph wasn't the father ,Jesus had a heavenly father. How can it be ?
Mary was in flesh ,Father was in spirit.Simple.God and man became one in the womb of a virgin. The blood of Jesus was special. This was the secret with the blood of Jesus. Man's blood was hopelessly polluted so innocent blood had to be shed for guilty blood.

An atheist said the blood of Jesus must not have power because the blood is 2000 years old and the world is worse now than it was then.
A Christian replied what about soap? There is soap in the world and it has the power to make the body clean but many are still dirty.
Let me explain to you how soap works. I can hold the soap in my hand and I will not be automatically clean. You can stand beside the soap, study it, even get a job in a soap factory but until you reach out and take the soap and bathe yourself in it you will still be dirty. So it is with the blood of Jesus.
It's not enough to know and sing and hear about it. You must reach out and take it and be washed in it. The blood must be applied by faith. If you do, you will join with hundreds of millions in singing there is power wonder working power in the blood of the lamb.

We blood of Jesus sanctifies and cleanses us from all our iniquities. We have been ransomed by the  blood of Jesus.Just as the blood had to be sprinkled on the doorposts during the Passover,We need to apply the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus is already shed for us all we need to do is to properly claim our blessings through applying it in various areas of our lives.
We are applying the blood of Jesus when we say :the blood of Jesus was shed on the cross for me".

We need to apply the blood on our bodies to receive healing as we are healed by the blood of the Lamb. Our families are protected when we are covered under the blood of Christ.Satan has no authority over anything marked and sealed under the blood of Jesus Christ. We need to claim back the lost blessings in our life through His promises and through the blood of Christ.

Only through Jesus Christ's shed blood on the cross we can live a guilt free, shameless, fearless, flawless, delivered, uplifted, strong ,victorious life in Christ.

It only by the precious blood of our Savior Jesus Christ.

You are Beautiful,Strong and Blessed In Christ.

Protected on the Perilous Nile

I know its a long time since I wrote my last blog. So I made up my mind to pen down my thoughts -today whatever comes my way.

Kids are all at school, busy with the new academic year. They must be striving hard to fulfill their dreams.Older kids would have joined new colleges ,found new friends, settled down with life at dorms. This is just a little list ,but there is much more we really don't know.

As kids have their own duties to do at school or college, parents have their regular fears and worries concerning the child's future ,safety and lot more. I believe every normal parent would at least think about their child once when they are away from them. As a parent I know that we have our own trepidation with respect to our kids.

I was going through Exodus chapter 2, God helped me understand that He is one who protects and preserves us amidst of all the dangers and traps in this world.
We read about baby Moses afloat on the death dealing river Nile.Nile. Jochebed, mother of Moses put Moses into a papyrus basket coated with pitch and tar to prevent the wood from rotting due to water corrosion. How much a mother's heart must have been heavy while casting away her  baby son on the river Nile.

I was trying to find out from the google about the river Nile. The information I got from the web was spine-chilling.
The Nile river has treacherous rapids and large rocks which makes traveling dangerous. The oppressive heat can lead to dehydration and fatigue. It is the habitat for the world's deadliest alligators, crocodiles and snakes.

The tiniest mosquitoes  found on the river can cause fatal diseases  like malaria and skin sores. It is the house of varieties of sand flies which are carriers of various parasites .No one could return alive after an expedition on the Nile.
Isn't it terrorizing ?? I was totally petrified after reading about the Nile.

Still The God of Abraham,Isaac and Jacob was gracious indeed to protect and preserve the little baby Moses from any kind of danger on the devouring river Nile.

Psalms 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength,A very present help in trouble

He is our shield and shelter in the time of storm. The God who protected Moses amidst every dangers encompassing Him on the Nile,Is the very same God who will safeguard our children wherever they are .Though they walk through the valley of the shadow of death,His Grace will cover and guard them. Our children are marked and covered by the blood of the lamb. No evil shall befall them.
May the peace of God which surpasses all understanding guard our minds and hearts through Jesus Christ

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;.
My God, in Him I will trust.”;.
Psalms 91:1-2

New Driver In Town

Turn on the car's ignition. Keep your feet gripped on to the brake pedal.
Switch the gears to the drive mode.  Slowly release the brakes and gradually press on your gas pedal.
Move on.  Yield to pedestrians. Turn right . Vroooooooom.....

**Guess what I am driving the car.

Oh! Really .. that's so sweet of you.
You know ,  I don't see anything special with  your driving except that you are a confused, nervous ,senseless  driver.

** please .. I am just learning to drive. I will improve with practice and time.

How long ? You don't have common sense or road sense.  Simply you just cant do it. You cant stop at a stop sign correctly. You cant drive in the lane. You cant make a turn on the  road. I am afraid you will end up creating  an  accident  on the road. Totally you don't make  a good driver. You don't have that spark or whatever to drive within you.

This trivial incident is the reason behind this blog. After all its a simple thing to control a car on the road. I thought I  am totally  dumb to do this thing. I had so much negativity  within myself to just give up on things. The more i tried  the more I  failed.
All I  heard from around were  hopeless confidence  sinking words. Tears rolled down, not because I  didn't want to try  but my circumstances weren't  really good to let me try. Encompassed  in fears and anxiety, I  told myself  " I  am done with this driving crap" . Daylight is gone and the night fell.
I went to bed repeating to myself that I  wont drive more.
I woke up in the morning only to get reminded that Jesus  never gave up on me till date and he wont ever more. I felt sorry for all my unfaithful thoughts. I started to praise God  for all his goodness. I started to declare in faith that I can do all things  through Christ who gives me strength. I shut my ears and heart to every tit bits of negativity cause I knew it was the devil who was trying to discourage me and keep me away from trying back. God is full of mercy and kindness. He calls us by name and lifts us up how many ever times we fall. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. I was completely filled with peace. I felt the soft rays of hope cover my heart.

A question from my doubtful heart arose in my mind, "Hey ,what if you don't get it right at all?"
I said "  Though I may stumble, I will not fall. Though I may fall, I will rise up to glory soon"
"I will conquer and master this driving in the name of Jesus of Nazareth . His grace is sufficient for me"

There is a good  saying from Babe Ruth  which says
"Never let the fear  of striking out keep you from playing the game"

He is able, more than able to accomplish what concerns us today.
Jesus Christ, He is our anchor  of hope forever.
As long as we stand on Christ the solid rock, you don't have to  fear cause our savior is always near.
Greater  is He who lives in us than he who is in the world.

Water Walker Or Boat Sinker ?

I happened to hear a sermon some time back about how Peter walked on water. So I started pondering on it.Certain revelations hit hard on my fist sized brains

Let me brief the story a little bit.
The disciples were sent away in a boat in the sea of Galilee. Jesus went to the mountain to pray in solitude after feeding the multitude. By the fourth watch at night (2 am to 4 am) Jesus comes walking to the boat on the waters.
The disciples are terrified thinking that its a ghost. Jesus pacifies them saying that its him. Peter asks Jesus to command him to walk on waters if he is really Jesus.
Look at him, he knows he is Jesus ,still tests him...

Jesus said" COME"

Peter walked on the waters of the sea. When the wind was boisterous ,our Peter lost faith and looked at the waves and cried to Jesus to save him.Jesus lent his hand and pulled him and said "Oh you of little faith. Why did you doubt??"

Pretty long narration uh..

Here comes the core thought behind all this story telling
The winds were really strong and the boat was sinking. I would say Peter wasn't dumb to ask the Lord to command him to walk on waters. This man was strategic. While the other fellow mates were fearful of sinking, our Peter wanted to step out of the boat to be saved. He did not want to sink with the ship.

1.Stop sinking in the present situation and step out in faith
The disciples were afraid that it was a ghost when they saw Jesus as it was believed in those days that fisher men fished at night . say from 2am to 5am. The fish usually come to the surface only at night. The fishermen believed that at night dead spirits of other Fishermen appeared to them to say that they will also be dead soon.
It was a bad omen. The disciples being fishermen by major it I believed in these things.
Jesus was thought to be a ghost
Peter got only the word "come" from Jesus. Nothing else.

2. God has given his word for you already .
You have a word in your heart. Hold on to it. Keep progressing .

You might have got many promises in your spirit from God long ago. This is a reminder to let u know that you still have the word. God is not a man to lie.The word is alive in you.

3. Never look at the circumstances and situations
The waves above the water made Peter to doubt on the word. Keep walking on the waters to what God has called you to be .You may fall  but you will never fail. You may sink, but you are not sunk

4.Even if you fall, God has his arm reaching to you
Jesus stood above the waters to save Peter sinking in the waves.
Remember your lifeguard stands on the water.
Your current situations may be a sick, your job may suck, your finances may be empty, you life may not be smooth.
Remember and hold on to the promises that God gave you long back .

You still have the word.
You are not forgotten
Remain Blessed Folks

In My Arms

Fear and anxiety added to the bliss
All I can give you is just a motherly kiss
A baby cute as ever lay in my arms
Warm and cozy ,unaware of my heart's storms
My heart was drenched in tears
No one to help ,Unsaid fears
Tomorrow seemed uncertain
Smiles acted to be just a curtain
Wondered if rivers in the desert were true
My mere thought became the Lords cue
He did flood my soul with waters of hope
There were no situations I couldn't cope
Beloved father in heaven
All I am ,is by your pure grace
Our faces shine as we sought your face
Hallelujah! Will lift your name
And proclaim your never ending fame

Best man

The Best Man I Ever Knew
When we married, I saw you as perfect,
The ideal husband and more;
I thought I knew all about you,
All the things to love and adore.
But when you became a father,
I saw new qualities to treasure.
You enrich all our lives in fresh ways;
As a dad, you bring so much pleasure.
Our son is forever blessed
To have a father like you,
And I love you more than ever,
You're the best man I ever knew

Written in honor of my husband on our first wedding anniversary
God is good all the time
